Charlie Watts passed away at 80 today.
RIP Charlie, thanks for the wonderful memories.
I saw the Stones in 1978 at Rich Stadium, Buffalo NY. It was the largest concert crowd that I’ve ever been apart of.

Posting my own little Charlie tribute:
Absolutely love how the drums are recorded on Honky Tonk. That intro is awesome. The kick drum also makes great sound gear testing. This is the best master I know of.
Never listen that much to the Rolling Stones, but gone through a few songs tonight…
Spotify > smsl sanskrit 10th mk2 > Denon pma-600ne > Dali Oberon 3 + Dali C8 D sub
May be the best example of Spatial Audio I’ve heard. Mellow summer vibes on this. And, I’m not a Lorde fan.
In the 80’s I was into CD’s that were on the GRP record label and I bought my first and only Rippingtons CD Tourist in Paradise. I just received my second CD Open Road after listing to them on one of your posts. Thanks.
That’s what this thread is all about sharing and discovery’s.
Music is the Medicine
Nice choices tonight, everyone! This one is hitting the spot for me this evening
And for the record, I continue to be surprised by these Sivga’s! And the SP200 for that matter. Big fun!
AMHD > Douk Audio U2 Pro > Schiit Bifrost 2 > SMSL SP200 > Sivga Phoenix
A little jazz to soothe the soul tonight…
