Listening to tonight (Part 1)

Man, I needed to break out a sort of reference playlist this evening and have a listen to these Sundaras tonight! I created this list. There is some excellent work on these albums

I don’t know what has gotten into these Sundaras, but since I put the Kennerton SE cable on it and connected it to the TA-20/SP200 pair to the SP200’s SE output they are sounding fantastic! Not shouty and Bass light as I remembered them. The balanced cable I had on there was a real piece of crap, apparently! Now there is more Bass, more Bass extension, richer mids and smoother highs. And still has that incredible stage and detail. And no EQ. I don’t think I have run these with the preamp configuration until now. Either way, this is wonderful! I always underestimate these cans, and I don’t know why. It’s almost like having a new set!

Haven’t gotten the chance to use my Shanling M3X to listen through a music streaming app and I gotta say, it’s working pretty well so far.

Oh man, that was too short! Well, one good thing leads to another, so I’m gonna spin up another good one

@skian Thanks for sharing this. This is great stuff.

EDIT: @skian I was gonna agree with your fave track, but I just heard “Mister Magic”. My new fave!

The new Big Thief album sounding pretty great on the KZ zex pro, though the trusty Qudelix.

No idea what genre this comes under, but chilled bass back beats.

I’m not an expert at classification but I’d say safe as “Electonic” but as for sub-genre(s) I’m lost

Also, Nice selection :notes:

Well, it is Funky Friday

My wife turned me on to this colab/album, it’s pretty good

Brothers in bliss over here! Eveytime I play that CSN album I tell myself go get yourself some more of their stuff and I never follow through. I might have to fix that this weekend with some crate digging
