Friday night at last. I’m feeling a club sort of vibe right now, so we’ll kick things off with something great. This is the Oscar Peterson Trio and “Night Train”. Just friggin fantastic. Enjoy the night, all.
the volunteer is slowing down…and taking time to…save himself
the little cracks they escalated and before we knew it was too late…
One of my fav music-focused movies!
What a heart wrenching movie…a busker like no other
genuinely true movie about one man’s plight through the vigorous nature of love
FLAC rip from the original 1987 CD… not the crushed and boosted loudness version that is the 25th Anniversary Edition of Bad.
Agreed, such a good film with great character development and chemistry between those two.
Some of my other favs of that specific genre and some documentaries include:
•Begin Again
•Sing Street
•The Commitments
•I Dream of Wires
•Under the Electric Sky
•The Rocker
•Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
•Drum Line
•Whiplash
•Ricki and the Flash
•8 Mile
•Sound of Metal
•Sound City
•School of Rock
•The Doors
•Hearts Beat Loud
You have good taste
Classic goodness!
I like how they had scenes from Streets of Fire in the video.
Not been posting much here lately, but i feel a bit like i am on repeat listening to the same old albums and songs over and over again at the moment
That said, a few weeks ago i got a pair of Air Pods Pro through work, and pairing them with the iphone it came with a few months free use of apple music (now i only need to remember to cancel the subscription in a few months) and been listening a lot to Neil Young since i got them. Really miss his work on Spotify, as spotify is where i consume most of my music unless i sit down and really listen to an album. Then i usually play albums i have bought lossless, or cd’s i have ripped to flac…
anyhow, right now i’m listening to :
apple music > iphone 12mini > air pod pro 2
