Some makers/models recommend a minimum of three feet from rear/side walls, but based on what you have from that room shot I think if you could manage “the rule of three” or close to it, they could shine (Seat 1/3 of the way into the room, speakers 1/3 of the way into the room i.e. your chair and speakers are roughly on where the lines would be if you divided the room into thirds, like:
Back wall 1 S 2 S 3 Front wall).
As always, just play around with positioning and have fun!
In the first photo they measured at 28 inches from the walls. I’ve moved them to 36 inches and put some towels underneath to tilt them up.
They already sound much better.
My friend is going to work on making a wedge to tilt them up.
Pretty cool design, never seen an open baffle speaker until just now. I also like how the handle is built in for moving them around as needed. Enjoy the music!
Well, they don’t get any more open than that! That is radical. They look great. Have fun with those!
Annnnnnnnd… It’s Friday!
Been an interesting week for sure. I am opening up with some energy this evening, Courtesy of one Mr. Billy Cobham. As it turns out, I haven’t heard this one, so I’m pumped. And away we go!
love the performance at letterman, reminds me of a breakup with one of my first girlfriends… oh the drama!
Classic performance for sure, one of the good Letterman musical guest appearances!
Added 4.5db at 60hz with a LS quality at .80 to my Pilgrim nice lil boost. Would’ve gone 100hz but I doubt anything can beat UP when it comes to slam so I’d rather keep it clean
Night went from alright to great and thoughts bout buying Noir anytime soon from maybe to no chance
