@Delta9K You Sir, have inspired me! Happy Funky Friday to one all.
Stay Groovy man!
Here’s a great one I haven’t heard in a while. There is some amazing work on this record. I think it’s well recorded as well. There is an amazing Beatles cover of “If I fell” near the end of the record. They nail it, too! ![]()
Gonna keep this Toto vibe goin with one that probably doesn’t get it’s due. I think it’s some of their best work. This is “Tambu”
Well, quite a day. Just spent the day with my big bother and Sis in-law. Incredible visit. The last of it’s kind for quite a while. They are relocating. I can’t believe they got the fuck out of here before we did. Lots of things going through my head right now. Life…
So, I raise my glass to you brother. Safe travels. Meanwhile, Gilmore plays…
Classic pickin’ tunes by a couple of modern day masters of the art. The quality and transparency of the recording makes for a ‘you’re there’ listen
Just realized he’s playing locally on Thursday with Sierra Hull and a couple old guys, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan - big open air amphitheater - had to grab tickets. Willie and Bob aren’t going to be around much longer
Friday at last. Thought I would start tonight with something new to me. It’s Widespread Panic and “Don’t tell the Band”. On the speakers, of course. Do enjoy the evening, y’all.

Dipping into the collection now for a spin of an old classic.
“Little Wing” is my favorite track on this record. And a perfect ending to the record with “Life By The Drop”. Outrageous! ![]()
plunging deeper into the night, here is one that tickles the brain cells! This is Toe and “Now I See the Light”.
Great album. 7 songs in there is basically a drum solo that just rocks! The Horizon Closed Carbons are doing a fabulous job with this album. Every detail, every nuance is shining through. Fantastic. ![]()
Currently enjoying a great one from Pattern-Seeking Animals. This is “Prehensile Tales”.
I decided to pull out my Aful P7 this evening. I almost forgot how good these were.
