Ah, home again. Very happy to be back in session! Got a nice one on to get things going this evening. On speakers, of course.
The Giants start a three-game set against the mighty Mets tonight. Webby has the ball, they always have a chance when Webb gets the ball. I like watching him work. Enjoy the evening, all.
I am gonna keep the Swedish vibe going! Spinning up a new one to me, this is Moon Safari and “Lover’s End”.
I’m liking it so far. Exceptional lyrical chops.
OK, time to change things up. Haven’t heard this one in a while. This is Mike Stern & Jeff Lorber Fusion with “Eleven”.
Great work done here! Excellent collaboration.
Holy crap! I did like the original. In fact, it may be time to watch that again…
I watched the OG last week. ‘It goes to 11’
Wanted to drop a little bit of what I got going on this Funky Friday
Here’s the Deal, an album from Liquid Soul - a set of funky party grooves bringing positive vibes
I like it. I Call this sway music. You just let it take you away. Good stuff.
Currently really enjoying this one.
Somehow this record stands out to me when considered with other albums in their catalog. Great work.
LE: Oops, wrong link first time around, I completely forgot this album had a less inspiring version with vocals in it. I only ever listened to its pure instrumental version, bought years ago and forgot the distinction.
copied this from discogs as it sums up better than i could.
Crazy shit or holy grail? I´m not quite sure which way to go here but after all the band members were working-class people who seem to have been christianized and the lead singer Jim Beach really sounds like Jim Morrison at his worst. Apocalyptic bore or real heightening underground experience. This recording is a mystic or somehow strange incident altogether. Frightening, I would say.
Not one of the recordings I listen to all too often but it clears up your mind at the right time.
