Well that was different. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I stuck with it and the man ended up telling a very human story. Very interesting, man!

I got my OG Yggy back from being serviced at Schiit after it was dropped during shipping (f*ckin’ UPS 
). For it’s first run back in action I decided I needed an epic setup and nothing is more epic that on OG Hifiman HE-6 (six screw) running off my Parasound Halo JC5 with the Yggdrasil decoding all the bits from my laptop.
Up to bat in the queue is Haken’s 2016 album Affinity. This was literally the first album in my queue that had the kind of complex and driving low end that I wanted to hear on this first run. It also happens to be a damn good album so I’m more than happy with the pick.
To those about to rock, I salute you!
Edit: I am by no means a basshead, but listening to the HE-6s put in work when they have all the power they need is a truly awesome experience. I haven’t heard anything else like it from headphones.

Got in a short but lively session this evening. Started strong with Riverside, and got these 2 great albums in as well. This is Plini’s “Handmade Cities”
And then stumbled onto this one, which turned out to be a very nice surprise.
A nice way to wrap up the evening. Spent the whole session on this crazy hybrid, too! Great stuff. Raptor168… Out!

Yggy OG has that easily addicting top-level Mike Moffat Schiit house sound that just works so right with a lot of music. Glad you got yours back.

What a great voice. I’ve actually never seen the show before. No cable TV. Tidal, YT music, Qobuz, Amazon music, Apple music and XM radio…but no cable. Lol.

@NiteRiter You’re not missing much. I seldom watch tv anymore except for a few like this and some nature/outdoor things. 
So with your experience how does Apple’s sound quality compare to the others?
I have YTM, AMHD and Spotify, but Apples coming classical app interests me.

I like Apple a lot for the sound quality. I think it’s higher quality than Tidal. I’m just not a fan of how modern pop-focused Apple is. The music selection is quite good when you know what you’re looking for, but the home page and advertising is mostly hip hop and pop.
