Been enjoying one of my playlists tonight, which was fun. Now it’s time for something different. I wanted to check out another selection from Pattern-Seeking Animals, so here we go!
AMHD > Douk Audio U2 Pro > Schiit Bifrost 2 > SMSL SH-9 > HiFIMAN Edition XS
I decided to get back to my cd collection which goes back to the late 80’s…I am getting old
It is like a nice stroll down memory lane…I know DMB doesn’t get a lot of love on some of the forums, but I have seen him live probably 15 times throughout the years. When we were in college it was our annual group concert and after we all graduated we continued to go and see him. One of my favorite DMB albums:
Two of my all time favorite albums and my favorite band (Pearl Jam)…Ten came out when I was in tenth grade and then my senior year Kurt killed himself…I still remember it like it was yesterday and it was almost 30 years ago… @Delta9K very good taste in music
A friend of mine was talking earlier today about this album and how in his opinion it’s one of the most underrated put out by Queensryche. It’s been a while so I gave it a listen, and I’m inclined to agree.
In a good mood and needing to get a few things done around the house while I’m home so I created an energetic and fun list to do some work to. I have the ThieAudio Prestige plugged into the A&K Kann Alpha so I can listen on the move. I just want to add that the Prestige have really hit the spot for me. I think they’re an incredibly well executed moderate v shape with extension and refinement in all the right places. This is exactly what I was hoping for when they were announced. If any of you out there were or are fans of the ThieAudio Excaliburs, you’ll love the Prestige.
At the top of the work queue is Thank You Scientist’s 2019 album Terraformer. Horns and saxophones mixed with funky basslines and powerful drums make for a perfectly unique backdrop to support the sometimes of the top vocal stylings of their lead. Dude can really sing.
