I love how people ask a question with very special / niche requirements and then add the need for it to be ‘cheap’.

Still casually searching for a separate DAC to compliment my Asgard 3. Currently deciding now between the SU-8, the EL DAC, or maybe the ENOG2 PRO. Trying to keep slightly above or below what I paid for the Asgard.
I think the el dac II would be my pick here actually for single ended performance
But will they stack?

I really like the look of the EL DAC, seems to do pretty well measurement wise, though I can’t really say which DAC would work well with the A3 sound-wise without asking you folks.
I mean any of them will sound pretty great, I just think the el dac II is the best performer for single end, that or the topping d50s
The D50s also looks really neat, though I don’t have anything that can take advantage of the bluetooth feature lol
So between the D50S and EL II, I really can’t go wrong with either of them lol. I personally like the look of the EL DAC, and I do like that according to you at least, it’s got the best performance for single ended.
Yeah I think the el dac II is a bit better imo
The Cambridge Audio Dac magic 100 is not Bad too.
It works very well with the Schiit product.
It is a little bit older but really nice,take a look on reviews and you tube too.
