Like I actually really like how these sound, and I’d like to stay in the ball park of 200, but the on-ear hurts SO MUCH. I’ve heard that the cooler masters are too good for the money.
Most importantly though I’m looking for a nice closed set of cans in that price range

Can’t say I’ve heard those. Can you describe what u like about their sound? Because at that price range if you want something that is on the brighter side I liked the beyerdynamic DT 770 (DT 990 too but it’s been years since I’ve heard those lol)
Slightly smoother signature probably not as much resolution but if you can find them the b and o h6 might do the trick
Theyre really clear, very natural sounding actually, listening to live recordings is a bit of a trip because you can actually distinctly make out people in the crowd’s voices. I kinda freaked myself a bit listening to a tiny desk concert on em actually cause you can hear the npr folks laughing in the background like you’re there with them.
Another one I’m thinking of I find to be abut more unforgiving slightly brighter than the m60 the msr7 might be something to look into
