Well this is gonna be awkward.
I’m looking for headphones with a specific sound quality.
Was playing around in a club today and the monitoring sound was pretty good, especially compared to my HD25. Those are huge GAE passive speakers, some EQ going on aswell, but I can’t tell exactly what’s behind that system.
Here’s the thing, those monitors sound quite “wet”, pleasantly so - especially with kickdrums.
The kick had quite the audible “click”, something I only experienced with the AKG K371 so far.
The HD25 felt muffled compared to that system.
That “wet” sound, is this something you could desribe better in terms of frequencies and so on?
Do you know of any headphones that are able to reproduce something like that?
