Oh I did not read carefully. I thought you were buying from the Hifiman store on the Hifiman website. They also have the same product listed there for the same price. Either purchase method includes warranty and returns it seems. Personally I would buy from Amazon as I heard they are pretty no questions asked (plus I get 5% back at Amazon)
nice, we should get our edition xx’s at around the same time, both of us upgrading from HE4XX. It will be interesting to see how our impressions compare.
I didn’t know you were also upgrading to them. When we both get ours we will have to come back here and compare. The FiiO K5 Pro will be about a week behind the XX though so I won’t get the full true experience at first. If I may ask, were did you buy your XX?

I’m actually in an odd situation where I have source gear (JDS labs ODAC, LCX amp, and a CTH that is lost in the mail somewhere…) but none of it is with me at the moment. So I will get the Edition XX and for some time I will have only onboard audio to power it… 
Not sure if Macbook -> Edition XX is better or worse than ODAC -> LCX -> HE4XX but
On board audio has worked better than I expected for the HE400 I am using at the moment…

I also ordered the Verum One’s in February but got bored of waiting for them to arrive and honestly completely forgot about them. I hope the K5 will suit them as well.

Bang for the buck is right. as a matter of fact they are he cheapest of all the hifi headphones i think. 15$. Everyone should have it. if you dont like the clipons you can snap on a headband easy

Yeah, I would assume since the XX has a driver larger than a blue whale it would have more bass than the Sundara as well.
