Let me clearly state what I would do.
Get ajds labs atom or a monoprice liquid spark for that headphone either would be fine but have a personal preference towards the spark.
It’s only an amp but I would run that off my on board by using a a aux to rca adapter and set the green to just output a lineout so it’s not giving too much power to the amp.
After saving aup a little more money then I can think about getting a DAC. For baout $80 you can get a topping d10 or for a $100 you can get a khadas tone board.
Getting separate units is nice as in the future if you want to upgrade a single unit you can do so vs a DAC amp combo. But for $150 on massdrop you can get the O2 sdac combo

What about the Geshelli labs archel pro amp?

That would probably work just fine! I haven’t personally heard it, but it seems to be well received.

thats a great amp but you have no gain control without the archel pro 2and it’s stats off at high gain and it’s LOUD

Thats the only thing I was wondering, because I couldn’t remember if it took high gain an outputted low or vice versa. I guess you could get around it by setting a lower voltage through the line out

So I might as well just get the monoprice liquid spark or jds labs atom then right? I’m sorry for all the questions, but you guys are so helpful

I’m thinking the liquid spark and bt 1990. Any particular brands or recommendations for the 3.5mm to rca cable?

Amazon basics ones work. All of them work well enough. Just find one with good reviews and a good price.

Amazon basics one for reference: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D5H8JW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_bXFsDb5EDNA7K

Just make sure not to buy too long of a cable unless you need it

amazon basics good build quality and looks great just awful branding

I’ll just order the amazon basic one

What are those figurines in the background? They look cool… Tthe line out thing mentioned, am I going to have to do that with my pc, or just plug everything right in?

here you go gives you warnings on to what to watch out for

Figure collecting is my other hobby I buy one whenever I have the disposable income to throw at it only a year into collecting so this is what I have so far . My desk is littered with amiibo though

Those are pretty cool. SO everything finally came in. When I am in game the sound is being transmitted to mic. I do not even have a mic…so idk what the issue is.

Wait what? So the sound that’s supposed to be going to the headphones is being treated as a mic input? You would make sure in windows (assuming you are using windows) that your default device output is the rear line out port on your motherboard with the volume maxed if it is a line out or at 50% if it was a headphone out.

Apparently other people can also hear the sound I can hear. I had to put mic to push to talk temporarily for a fix. Yeah I dont even have a mic. The amp is plugged into the green port on the mobo on my pc. I probably have to disable something. Illl get back on my pc in an hr or so with an update. But otherwise these headphones are so sexy and the sound is really nice. I’ve never heard good sounding headphones before it kinda blew my mind putting them on at first. I only typed in hd audio on youtube though for a test, so if anyone has a recommendation for some tunes I’m down :stuck_out_tongue:

So first press the windows key, and type “Control Panel”

Then go to “Hardware and Sound”

Then go to Sound and then the Recording tab

Can you send a screenshot of what is in there?

My guess is that your mic is set either as the incorrect device, or has some sort of loopback feature that got enabled

Also I’m glad you like the headphones. You can never go back now lol.

If you have any cd’s try playing them on the headphones, you will be able to tell the difference between youtube and the high quality audio. If you use spotify make sure to set it to high quality
