I’m on the hunt for a pair of top-notch on-ear headphones here in Norway. I’ve been searching for a while now and wanted to tap into the community’s knowledge. Any recommendations for brands or models that offer great sound quality and comfort? It’s important for me to find a pair that suits both my music preferences and lifestyle.
Also, does anyone have experience buying headphones online? I came across some websites called
I will mainly use them for listening to music. On ear headphones are generally easier to put on and take off compared to over ear headphones that’s why i love to buy on ear.
Never had “trouble” with taking them on and off but what ever works for you.
Like i said initially Koss headphone are pretty much the best you can find in term of musical listening KPH30I, KPH40, Porta Pros KSC75, just look at what form factor suit you the most - in terms of durblity the KPH40s are the best since they are mostly metal.
Koss headphone might not loo like much but dont let the look fool you, there is a reason thier design driver hasnt very much in years - though i do recommend getting some aftermarket pads off amazon
Beg to differ. Add Grado to Koss on the list of good on-ear headphones. Grados have a well-deserved reputation for hot treble, but my Grado SR325x have the best tuning out of the box of the three headphones I own (325x, Audeze LCD-X 2021, Sennheiser HD6XX). While not cannons, there’s plenty of bass.
Comfort? Well, that’s another story. Grados can be torture to the pinnae if you don’t bend the metal headband to fit your head better.
One of the great things about Grado is that you pad rolling changes the sound and tuning more than any headphone brand I’ve ever tried. There are a variety of shapes and sizes of Grado pads, and you can get good Geekria imitations for $15 or less on Amazon. Pad rolling is fun with Grados!
I stand corrected, they completely slipped my mind - though to be fair they arent for most folks (aside from the awful comfort), being open back very much limits their usage for most folk
