Have fun! How do they compare to the FH3 sound wise? And do they rape your ears? 
No they don’t. Actually they fit perfectly and the noise cancelling is amazing. Took them on the train today and it was a pleasure. The tuning is way more neutral then the FH3s tuning. Less subbass, less bass and less treble. I had to eq the FH3 hard to fit my liking so I guess it is just not for me. The ER2XR has a great stock tuning. At first it seems a bit recessed in the treble but thats what a flat frequency response is… if you want sparkle the ER2XR is not for you.

I think it’s good that it’s flatter than FH3, I actually prefer the tonality off my Sony MH1s, everything sounds more natural. FH3s are so much more resolving though. I guess the ER2XR is a bit less resolving than the FH3, an overall smoother listen, right?
