Looking to pick up a headphone or two, that would go good with a Schiit Mjolnir 1. I need something balanced, that can handle the wattage. I only own 3 balanced headphones, looking to add something else. (LCD-x , HD600, 58x). It’s the Mjolnir 1 so only 4 pin xlr balanced preferably, or something good that can be modded to be balanced. I don’t have any specific budget in mind, preferably under 2k. The Mjolnir puts out 8 watts into 32 ohm, thinking on another audeze, but i’m not sure what else is compatible.

How about a ZMF? Very nice and they hold their value well.

i’ll check them out, I’ve heard good things about ZMF headphones. Never tried any out before, but they look well made, havn’t seen if there are any new ones, so I’ll have to look through them for sure. But I just got a pair of Audeze’s, so i’ll have to save up to put towards something. I’ll do some more browsing, it’s hard to find the power handling specs for some headphones, definitely want to make sure they can handle the power without blowing up.
