Looking to purchase my first balanced amp

Good afternoon my fellow hifi brethren lol. I have been looking at getting a balanced headphone amp now that I have 2 balanced headphones. My current headphone collection includes the following:

Balanced

  • Modhouse argon mk3 with balanced mod
  • modded theiaudio phantom

Unbalanced
sony cd900st
1more tridents
modded monoprice retro (may do a balanced mod in the future)
oh and a set of kph30i’s with them bigg grado pads.

Right now I run everything off of a topping e30 DAC into an atom amp and it has done a great job for me thus far, but I really wanna push more power into the likes of my balanced argons and also see what comes of balanced with the phantoms. Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions for a budget-ish balanced amp (200-400 buckaroos) and maybe have tried one or more of my headphones on it lmk.

If you can find the Liquid Platinum on sale for $399.00, I bet it would be a nice fit with the Argons.
However it has a lot of gain so efficient headphones or IEM’s likely wouldn’t be a great match. It would still work, but everytjing would be between 8:00-9:00

But I bet those Argons would really sing.

Hello,
Yes, there are some.
Shiit Asgard 3, would also be something.

I’m sure there’s something from Topping too.
The asingxer Sa 1 will probably blow your budget slightly.
But as @ShaneD say with the Liquid Platinum probably the best option if the price is right,it would appeal to me too.

Thanks for the suggestions @Deleeh and @ShaneD there are a few deals on the liquid platinum on Ebay so I may go that route. Covid has definitely given me more time to spend listening to my headphones and such which is good and bad. On one hand I get to enjoy all my headphones more, but on the other little curiosities come up like my wanting to try balanced lol. Anyways thanks again guys!

Jotunheim 2 is a solid option.

I would be curious to hear that.
