Thank you for all the feedback . M0N i listen to edm music probably the least like only fear loathing and las vegas is the closthest thing to it. I wouldnt say i have a really good amp just the amp/dac combo arc and q5s.
I honestly donāt believe in expensive amps, I plan on getting a Magni 3+ and Modi or a Fiio K5Pro and thatās it. I donāt believe in $1000 amps/dacs 
I think if you care the most about vocals and with the music you listen to, the ADX5000 would be in your best interest. You can find them used in your budget

He said used, so you can find them used in his his budget. I mean personally for his music I would rather use my 5000 than my clear, and when I still had the arya I think that would also work very well for him

If the 5000 isnāt a viable option (although some might pop up later), you can get an Arya pretty easily in your budget

I am not sure for dac/amp at all. I use the q5s at work and use the arc at home. I am open to suggestions
What are you thinking price wise? I personally think if you went balanced the q5s might push the 5000 and maybe the Arya if you wanted to take them portable
Also let me explain my reasoning for pushing aside the elex. I think the elex would be an upgrade, but a smaller one, compared to other options. I also think that the elex might be a bit cold in the timbre at times for what you listen to, and that might make some vocals less enjoyable which you seem to value
What amps are you thinking could be above THX and still be below $1000?
RNHP is the only I think fits that bill; but then again, I am not that experienced.
I plan on going balanced with the q5s for sure. Probably not too crazy for a amp/dac 600 tops for that.
There is the cayin iha6, you could get a nice tube amp for the 5000 in that range, questyle cma 400i or 600i, violectric V280, monolith liquid platinum might be able to be found in that range off the top of my head

I posted on the Headfi and alot of people were shitting on the focal clears and recommending the lcd2s and x
Whaaa, the clears are great lol. I personally donāt think the lcd2 would work well for what you want and what you listen to, but the LCD x might be interesting (although vocals can be recessed at times)
