The LCD2 and X are pretty good from what I know, but I’d say you have to hear them first before buying them imo

It’s a pretty flawed headphone imo, a failed 800 prototype almost lol. Not awful but not something I would recommend
Speaking of Sennheiser is there any diference between the old and the new versions of the 600 and 650 that just came out? actually it says here there’s a new version of the 660 as well 
It was a factory change, no change in sound, just slight changes in build

Seems that from all the headphones ive been recommended its safe to say theyre neutral?
The 5000 is actually a bit brighter but is very sweet in the vocals, and is a very enjoyable signature, not something I would say is super neutral or anything. The clear is pretty neutral but I won’t recommend that for this use case imo. The Arya has a pretty unique sound signature and presentation that would suit your preferences, and while it is balanced sounding, I don’t think it’s neutral
Looks like ad5000x are super hard to drive. Whats a dac thats recommended.
They aren’t that hard to drive imo, just harder than the headphones you are used to. I think that combo dac amp cma600i would get the job done. If you wanted separate components, a good dac would be something like a smsl su8 and a good amp would be the Rupert Neve rnhp

All of them are very solid pieces. I use my 5000 with the RNHP and it sound great. The questyle would also sound pretty great with them. If you wanted the Arya, I wouldn’t recommend the rnhp for that but for the 5000 it’s pretty sweet. Questyle would work for both

I personally haven’t tried it, I only have the Verite, but that’s pretty sweet.
