I’ve owned a Loki Mini as well as a P20 for several years now, and the Loki has been in my system ever since I got it regardless of what it was connected to (Modi Multibit v2, Eitr, and Piety at the moment). I recently pulled my P20 out of the closet as I kinda wanted a different flavor from my Hifiman EF5 tube amp (which I love, btw) and I have a small collection of tubes compatible with it.
But I cannot for the life of me remember how in the world to get this thing connected correctly to my MMv2 / Eitr / Loki. I’m getting no sound at the moment, and have tried just about everything I can think of. I even pulled out my Little Bear MC3 balanced to unbalanced / unbalanced to balanced converter / switch box. But all that did was complicate matters, and the Loxjie supposedly has an inbuilt transformer that can do the same conversions as the Little Bear box does.
I’m trying to go RCA to XLR, whether thru RCA to XLR cables (Loxjie has both RCA and XLR inputs + 1/4 single ended and XLR balanced output) or RCA to RCA to MC3 / MC3 to P20 XLR to XLR.
Is there any way possible to get this amp working with the Loki Mini in the chain? I’m doing something wrong here for sure, and any help would be greatly appreciated very much. Thank you!!!
