Made in America Headphones

Ah interesting

Actually Andover looks like they outsource.

Campfire Audio:

Each model in our earphone line is designed and assembled by hand in our Portland, Oregon workshop

Fostex are Japanese headphones, but you can purchase directly from Ryan at modhouseaudio with the Argon tuning that’s really highly reviewed if you wanted to support a smaller 1 man shop (and 1 woman, IIRC his wife helps run the company).

After care, Hart Audio cables are really nice and another 1 man show if you need balanced upgrades for anything you choose. Periaptcables is another custom cable shop in the US.

are we considering customs made in the US?

MiA means MiA…nothing is really outsourced (IC’s and equivalent are an exception I’ll grant). so even made in China but modified in America aren’t MiA. :stuck_out_tongue:

as for the Drop AEON OPEN X headphones I emailed dan clark audio and they said:

Dear Adam,
Yes, all of our headphone s are made in USA.
Thank you for asking.
Stay healthy and safe!
Best Regards

So that’s pretty cool

was hoping to support small US business

noted thank you!

is Hart in the US? I thought they were off continent?

Tyler, TX is where mine shipped out of and is listed according to BBB. James was also a great guy to work with, answering emails at 1am (midnight for him).

jds labs rca cables too!

Unless you want to color match

Fixed the link. And link to the paracord color options Hart uses. I went with Acid Purple Diamond and red/blue knight for the Y split on headphones. Didn’t get XLR / RCAs from Hart, don’t care that much for behind the units, won’t really see them.

schiit is $35 too(after shipping)

any place to get a good short aux extender?

What are you connecting and to what? Might be easier to find a longer aux. Any of the previously mentioned home shops can custom make cables if you let them know what you need.

i always just need a nice aux extender when i’m at my desk. the amazon basic ones ive had for years they’re dying

Are you wanting a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male cable or a female to male extension?

male to female. like 2 feet

Found this company on Google for made in the US.

3.5 MtoF

Fixed links, sorry, chrome doesn’t like me!
