This was my first ever magnifier that I reviewed. It was good then, and still holds up today. The price is fair for what you get. But it is up against some Very tough competition.
The Holosun Hm3x (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tw4Caw3yc2U) (https://rebrand.ly/w50j4e2) is a good example. Its less expensive, but larger & heavier (9.8oz), has a little better eye-relief at 2.7” BUT, it does not run a standard mount setup.
If push really comes to shove and I was set on a smaller, light 3x magnifier. I would strongly look at the Trijicon 3x (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiq9FvmdvkU) (https://rebrand.ly/xdsjtls). Its lighter at 6.5oz, has the same eye-relief, and my example was made in the Philippines. Its more expensive at $450. But that would be my choice if I had to choose.
