Other people deleting others posts lol. I have no issues with someone retracting their own post if they feel it doesn’t represent what they were trying to say or it was just a mistake.

Also I very rarely delete my posts unless it’s a big accident

So to me it’s less about needing mods to do actual mod duties and giving MON a sort of “leadership” position as someone who sets a good example. Especially as the forum populates with more people over time.

He can keep just doing what he does, but it just sort of makes it official. And I think shows general appreciation for the advice he’s already giving on a regular basis.

Discourse does not either.
And beeing a leader definetly is not about deleting posts.
It is about guiding the community to stay on track, wherever that track may lead.
