Mangird TEA is a beast and for the money its one of the best deals in the game.

+1, Iā€™ve been thinking about buying a second set since theyā€™ve been updated.

Got my set last week with some Azla tips and have been very much enjoying them. Came from some Hisenior T2ā€™s which although gorgeously detailed in the mids, they were only that. Wanted something that still had forward vocals and the Teaā€™s are so much more energetic and full.

Not an audio buff by any means but Iā€™m finding they compliment my K712 Pro quite nicely for something portable? (might be out of my mind here)

Not out of your mindā€¦ I think the TEA has a rather spacious and deep sound stage.

It is difficult for me to imagine what a higher tier IEM with similar tuning might sound like. But of course, Iā€™m a neophyte in the ā€œaudiophileā€ world. So for now, adding to my ā€œiem collectionā€ has stopped cold in itā€™s tracks.

So, after a bit of waiting I have received my Teas, and unfortunately my ears donā€™t like them.
I canā€™t get a good fit, I got probably 100+ pairs of various tips and I havenā€™t been able to find a match :frowning:

When i found tips that got a seal - any movement of my jaw and I lose the seal.

They sound great, I canā€™t say much more though as I wasnā€™t able to use them for more than 5 minutes at a time. Too bad.

Theyā€™re a rather deep insertion iemā€¦ but still losing the sealā€¦ that is too bad. :sleepy:

The semi-transparent silicone that are included with the set, work the best for me.

any movement and you loose the seal?
xelastec is your friend.
they stick like a glue,

Actually I donā€™t have xelastics. Iā€™ll try before selling. Thhanks

Can confirm, xelastec tips solved the impossible fit for the Clairvoyance (their shell is huge).

IMPORTANT: get a size smaller than what you would normally use. Iā€™m usually an M, but Iā€™m currently using the XS!
They expand when they get in your ear so thatā€™s why I guess

Thanks, already ordered a few sizes, but theyā€™re coming from the US so gonna wait a few days

Does Tea sound as spacious as L3, YBF or Oxygen? The imaging is not so good? And they sound kinda dark, like an LCD? No treble fatigue?

I donā€™t have the others to compare, but Tea imaging is very good.

Theyā€™re not dark in the mid-bass dominant sense and neither are they bright in the treble or shouty sense, although first listen does give the impression of bright. I would say whatā€™s happening is a distinct lack of upper bass bloat that tilts the tuning upward. Focus is on mids but without shouty pinna. Vocals sound really good.

I boost bass 125hz and down by 2 db, very minor. Sometimes up to 250, but usually this is too warm for what they do, which is to let the mids take center stage.

Resolution is enough to prevent the wall of sound effect and let you get into the music. When my ears adjust, itā€™s mildly intoxicating and Iā€™m reluctant to take them out.

Caveat: Iā€™m a shill for whatever my daily driver happens to be, and right now thatā€™s the Tea.

Note: my previous daily was the Shozy 1.4. Thatā€™s a warm set.

The Tea destroys the L3 and the YBF. I donā€™t have the Oxygen. The TEA is a neutral IEM with a sub bass focus. It is not dark what so ever and is one of the best hybrids Iā€™ve heard for present extended treble without any sibilance.

The TEA also has extremely good soundstage and imaging. Donā€™t let its price fool you, It punches far beyond its price point. The TEA is a fantastic IEM at any price point.

Does Tea have any benefits over SA6? The tuning of Tea does look really nice. Blessing 2 was definitely too bright for me, and too big.

Iā€™m kinda waiting to see what Oracle and Excalibur can do, assuming sub-$1000. Otherwise, I think I would be picking between Tea, SA6, and Clair/Mon.

I own the Clair, Monarch & Mangird Tea. I literally have the SA6 being delivered from Linsoul right now because I really like the EST112 and the description of the SA6 vs the EST112 makes me feel the SA6 will be a nice compliment. Expected on Monday. The Mangird will have the DD benefit the SA6 will not. Again, at only 300 bucks, I feel the TEA is a no-brainer.

I do prefer the Monarch to the TEA, but not by a lot.

Hmā€¦ Another rough selection. Clair stands out to me, but will it fit? SA6 seems to have better fit, but BA bass. And then Tea, will it fitā€¦?

How is the fit/size of Clair and Tea compared to S8/S8Z, or DM8? These are the largest IEMs that would fit me, I think. Blessing 2 was a no-go.

The Clair and Monarch fit suck. Iā€™m a 6ā€™ tall man and they always find themselves easing their way out of my ears. Iā€™m constantly messing with them when I have them in. It sucks because the Monarch especially sounds sooo good.

The TEA is one of the smallest IEMs I own. I love looking at it and seeing how crammed all those BAs are in such a small shell. The TEA DD might take a while to break in. I heard the new version has modified the venting so it may have improved. The Mangird TEA has a fairly deep insertion so youā€™ll want to use smaller tips.

I found the S8F & S8Z to be similar to the TEA. The Fearless IEMs have always fit a bit weird for me but they always seal well.

I skipped the Blessing IEMs per @Rikudou_Goku 's advise because of BA timbre and huge shell and nozzle size. I personally prefer shallow fit IEMs with large tips like the DUNU EST112 and all the Fiio hybrids.

@Resolution, a question regarding Teaā€¦ On headfi I read that Tea is mid-centric, with good sub bass.
What exactly does this mean? Does this mean that it can go low but it doesnā€™t have slam, energy?
For example, would it be a good fit for trance, DnB, dubstep etc.?
