Thanks for this I’ll view it - I tend to have a similar taste to Mark (I like boosted upper mids, phones like the SSR for example).

I need something to persuade me not to save up for Teas.

It’s hard to read so many glowing comments and reviews, all the time not sure if that really matters as taste is so personal. For example the last time I read through this much euphoria it was for the ISN H40s. They were absolutely meh to my ears.

(FH3 too for what it’s worth. Big BL03 fan though. NM2+ is my favorite to date.)

So helps to hear a review from someone I’ve established hears some things the same way, or appreciates similar tones.

Mines just arrived,

Haven’t used them yet, as I need to buy the Apple dongle for my iPhone.

Welcome to the family!

Welcome to HFGF

If you’re referring to Super*Review? then one thing he’s not is stupid, I believe he’s helped both Chris @hawaiibadboy and @Rikudou_Goku with graphing? etc…all he’s “guilty” of is having a personal opinion this does not make him stupid.

Hey, i actually ended up buying the Teas and i love them! hahaha

I also got the ISN H40 and they were just ok to my ears. I would say i agree much more with people who praise the Teas as punching above its price than the few who say it is not very good. I most definitely do not regret the purchase.

I appreciate the follow-up! For sure my curiosity’s still piqued enough that if they turned up for a miraculous sub $200 price spontaneously, I’d jump. Even though they’re good value above that price, it’s not an indulgence I can swing.

So I played Enigma’s MCMXC ad, an album I know every note of.

And yeap, they’ll do (I like them)

Hi! How does this IEM compare to Sennheiser HD25? Can it be considered as an upgrade?

This is an IEM.
The Sennheiser HD25 is an on-ear headphone… It’s a vastly different product category :stuck_out_tongue:

What do you mean with ‘upgrade’?

HD25 lacks in soundstage, imaging and comfort but has very enjoyable sound character - it’s neutral with a little bass boost. I try to find something similar but without HD25’s drawbacks.

Well, consider my opinion with a grain of salt, since im new to the game…

Most budget overheads phones will perform worst than good mid range iems. When you compare the teas to the hd25, im pretty sure teas will blow them out of the water. I own the teas and fidelio x3, and i’d pick my teas every time. Still, remember you’re comparing apples to oranges.

Also, teas are sub bass focused, but if you looking for a bass head iem or mid bass focused, you might want something else…

Still, in my opinion, you should get the teas. They are amazing

you will get a better imaging and soundstage,
but you will lose a bass kick/impact,

Thank you!

I have a doubt.
Between the Mangird tea and the Lz A7.
Which one is more complete and ultimately a better headset?

have heard the teas, but just the a6. id say the teas have a more organic presentaion with better timbre but a relaxed tuning compared to the lza6. though the a6 has a bunch of tuning filters that can make it more relaxed or more foward, etc. I enjoyed the Teas personally over the lza6. As i just felt the Teas more realistic and fun, where as the a6 was too straight forward and not great timbre compared to teas

A7 is completely different from the A6, so this wont help really help OP.
