šŸ”¶ Mangird TEA (6 BA/1DD)

I guess to be a bit more specific it’s more along the lines of the technicalities. I know from reading/watching reviews and impressions of both that the Tea is balanced to balanced-warm while the UP has a lot more bass/sub-bass with their tuning

Teas are special. Theres not much alike in the market. Only thing that comes to mind is aladdin but still a different tuning. That’s why we rec it so much

EDITED: my rant because… who cares?

No…

They are not alike in… tuning, technicalities, driver make up, driver coatings, driver count, driver types, esthetics/design, size, shape, nozzle insertion depth or even branding. Even their cables are completely different.

Edited: Nothing to see here, music to listen.

Move along. Oh and @Resolution knows his shit

Ok guys, give it to me it straight. Are these worth getting if I already have the FH3 and the recently bought FD3 Pro? I picked up the FD3 Pro because some mentioned it was better than the FH3. Based on my listening tests, I would say it’s slightly better. It’s pretty balanced but nothing really stands out. I’m no basshead but I like my bass to be impactful with good thumps. I like my mids and I’m just a tad bit treble sensitive which these shouldn’t be a problem. I will eventually buy the Mele when they come out with the blue color which is another iem option. Thanks.

Yes to all. Is one tear above and fits your description. Teas treble is perfect for sensitive people since it’s the opposite of sharp

Teas can be anyone’s end game and one of the best mids arounds, specially up to 500usd.

I have the mele coming in but have my eyes on treating myself to either Mangird Teas or the Blessing 2 Dusk. Does anyone have either able to steer me in any direction please?!

I have Mele and Tea. @Resolution has all the IEMs available in the world.

Teas > Mele, anyday.

Teas vs Dusk, we need more info on your preferences.

I’m not surprised by your answer. And not because I’m in a tea thread but rather due to the fact that it was you who answered. I have read some of your posts praising these and your response is enough confirmation :slightly_smiling_face: I will return the FD3 Pro since it isn’t that much better than the FH3. I’m very excited for these since you and many have mentioned endgame iems. I just don’t want to keep going down the rabbit hole because it gets expensive chasing that sound lol.

Thanks for the trust, but let me clarity a lil bit. The answer was short because it can be short and had been answered 100 times around here. I have no bizz with mangird or linsoul and im not shilling.

I really believe, with my ears, that Tea are special. I dont own fd3, but I owned FD5 and fh3. Both are out. I sold a tribid and kept the Teas. And why does this matter? Well, if I had sold the teas and some more stuff, i’d prolly have gone Mest. But no, for now im going Variations + Teas

If I’m biased of something, I’m biased of not liking Fiio soundsignature. If you had something like Oxygen or blessing2, we might be having another conversation, but not vs fd3/FH3, specially after your description of sound preference.

And I really believe Teas can be end game. You wont get double the performance to a doubled price tribid. Kilobuck is another discusson.

As per final comment, I love teas, but im not an hipochrite. The moment something does what Teas do, but better, they are outtie.

Thanks for the clarification. I know there are diminishing returns when it comes to audio. I’m not expecting the Teas to double the performance of the FH3. There will always be something better. For all I know, I may end up not liking them even if it fits my sound preference (fit, isolation, etc.) Luckily, I’m getting it through Amazon so returning them would be easy and convenient. Thanks again.

I’m a bit biased here since I dont like them, but for me Teas are doubling FH3. If Teas are an S-/A+ for me, FH3 are a B.

Nice, that’s very advisable. Drop in sometime to share your impressions  would love to hear how that journey ended up!

+1 I just received the FD3 Pro last week. After listening to Mele, I took the FD3 Pro out of my ears about as quickly as I put them in.

I think you’ll enjoy the Mangird Tea.

Loool that would be the logo

Hello again. If I were to buy it on Amazon US and it’s fulfilled by Amazon, will I get the updated version of the Teas with the better packaging, better 2 pin cable and the lip on the nozzle?

Oh god I feel the need to do some Photoshop on that. lol!

I think that is all that’s sold now. If in any case you’re not satisfied with what shows up, if purchasing from Amazon, you should have an easy route to return.
