Massdrop selling LKS AUDIO USB-100 INTERFACE 120$ Not sure what this is about or what it does. can someone explain?

So it’s essentially if you want to convert a USB signal to a different digital output. It’s really only needed if you need i2s output or something like that

Also might help if you have a poor usb in on a dac and you could use it to make a coax signal for the dac

It is a standard for audio transfer similar to how spdif works but with separated signals
