I think youāre right to feel that way. The measured difference is likely inaudible, and JDSā whole EL line is top notch! You should enjoy it!!!

yes the huge knob / attenuator ā¦ the glowing ā¦ would prefer it over the 789 designwise and it measures very goodā¦ so it is the better product

Smsl s8, senn 6xx, bd990 250, and Iāve been resisting the urge to pick up the bd 1990 but Iāve not been able to hear them and Iām pretty happy with my current cans so hopefully I wonāt splurge.

Me too. I know it was free shipping, but 10 days from Fedex receiving the package to delivery is a little much. I live 15 miles from a major international airport, and 60 miles from SFO. Itās not like Iām remote.

FedEx has lost 3 of my packages for months on separate occasions. They even just flat out lost one of my packages and I had to try and fight to get reimbursed. I try and avoid fedex where I live. I think itās because the independent fedex contractors around my 2 main areas are absolute garbage. Signing up for their delivery manager tells you jack shit and gives you no options. Rant over

Need some time to listen to it. So far sounds better then my Oppo HA-1, Seems to have cleaner / clearer sound. Have to listen more to compare to RME ADI 2 pro. Oppo is more relaxed. RME has clean and precise sound delivery. I think AAA has better base at least on Focal Clear.
At least they do seem to be making more of them, as I think theyāre still available for preorder with a November delivery date.

I think this will be the last time I purchase anything from massdrop. The whole point of massdrop to me is their branded products which are not available anywhere else. I know that in some cases it means Iām doing a pre-order and putting up with their inevitable shipping delays. What I canāt put up with is the stress of whether or not my expensive item will be left in the foyer to my building. The fedex smartpost situation is really stressing me out.
