Just sitting down to start Christmas. My wife is cooking Lasagna for supper (Yes!).
Turkey will be tomorrow, with added family.
Just setting up for today/tonight.
With Arya V2’s.
Merry Christmas Eve everybody!

Great thread! We’re heading down to my Aunts for the traditional Christmas Eve later, but here’s how we’ve decked the house out for the big day:
We just got back from a great Christmas visit with my Brothers up in NorCal over the weekend. For Christmas day, it’ll be just my Bride and I at home. Nowhere I’d rather be. My lady, a good bottle of wine, old Christmas movies and a Buffalo Filet for dinner. And some great music, of course. Peace and love, Y’all.
Nice sized covered deck! All looks great.
Pretty much the same as mine. Just duck downstairs (MIL lives in same apartment building) for an hour to share lasagna and then on to music and rum for the evening.
Hopping downstairs for lasagna, music and rum? SIGN ME UP!
@Raptor168 Sounds great! I once had the privilege of going up to The Bay Area for Thanksgiving when I couldn’t go home for leave from Camp Pendleton, always a treasured memory. I do love quiet Christmas at home though, that’s our usual mode for the last decade or so. Just a big ol’ cured ham, tons of sides and cookies and whomever wants to drop in is welcome!
Downstairs is just to share the lasagna.
My wife and I sharing a bottle of Fortress Rum is on the top floor. Great rum made here in Nova Scotia.
Quiet, boring evenings have become a way of life as I enter old-age-hood.
Drama is for young people.
My wife made a Load of peanut butter cookies! I will be eating them off and on, for two weeks!
