I haven’t had a chance to hear the 1 More, but currently have the Meze (but am trading them away). In stock form, the Meze do not have “lush mids” they are really quite recessed IMO. They come with two sets of pads (both pleather) one soft and one stiff. For me the soft were on-ear, and the stiff were over-ear. I did not like the Meze with either of those pads…
However, if you put a set of Brainwavz Velours on them, they really open up. With velour pads, the bass gets tamed, the mids come forward, treble extends more. I really don’t understand why they didn’t ship with a set of velour pads instead of two pleather pads. The issue is the velour pads go around the outside of the cups, which spoils some of that beautiful design.
