I have the two in the title for speakers and headphones for my desktop setup.
I tried SMSL AD18 and Topping MX3 as all in one solutions: SMSL has a better speaker amp in a way I cannot put into words, Topping’s headphone amp makes SMSL’s look like a joke, but I am understanding it can still be much much better. (TBH, I’m not hearing a world-changing difference between hd6xx and hd579 using these two all-in-ones)

Thinking of maybe FiiO K5 Pro (if it ever is back in stock) + <insert good speaker amp here>
Ideal budget $200-220, can push it some more.

Suggestions and jokes, and insults about my ignorance are all welcome!

I would suggest getting a stack like the topping d10 as a dac, the liquid spark or jds labs atom as an amp, and the topping pa3 as an amp. I think this would yield the best sound quality for your headphones and speakers for the price

If you can get your hands on a k5 pro, pairing it with the topping pa3 would be great imo
