Monoprice M1060c For gaming

Hey, I’m one of those filthy casual gamers who wants to upgrade his audio experience, after spending many days researching many different headphones I settled on the M1060c I was curious if anyone has any experience with using them in games. I have read they have a wide soundstage but not very accurate imaging, z reviews say they have a rear sound which concerns me.

I was planning on driving them with a Schiit Fulla 3

I have also heard good things about the Audio-Technica m40x’s

Any help or recommendations would be appreciated

The he 4xx is a better cheaper option I would go with that instead. Also the angled pads treat gaming pretty well as well

I second the 4XX its cheaper and such a blast of a planar with some nice leather angled pads. It’s a big fun can

Do you have an recommendations for closed back as I prefer the privacy?

If you want something wider the dt770 250 ohm sounds up your alley, good imaging as well

DT 770 or one more triple driver over ear but for comfort and gaming performance the dt770 are the way to go

I agree with the DT 770 that or the T50 RP Argon mod / Beyerdynamic MMX300 similar to the argon’s sound with an integrated microphone.
