Moondrop Aria SE vs Zero:Red vs other recommendations

Hello,

First time posting here so not sure if I am doing it right. I have a budget of around under 100$ and torn between Moondrop Aria SE and Zero:Red. (Would also love if I was recommended more). I want to use these for music and gaming. I listen to music from rnb to rock and for gaming I’m mainly an fps player so games like rust, valorant, rainbow six siege. I need an all around IEM and not really sure what to look for so I would for some help please and thanks!

Ohh fellow Rainbow Six Siege player  not sure about Aria SE but Aria’s QC is terrible and I would go against it. I had an unpleasant experience with Aria I feel like by design its bound to fail at some point (one side will loose its sound due to its sensitivity with sweat).

I use Tea2 for gaming for its good imaginf. Personally it is effective for me to detect footsteps accurately. I’m not sure if there’s anything under 100$ that’s good for fps. Musicwise I think there are better sets than Aria that are currently being released. You might want to check different reviews and try to find something that is recommended for rnb and rock music that has good imaging.

Personally I like my RNB with forward vocals, good bass response and thick notes which is usually found on warm tunings. Aria though has forward vocals although notes are thin, I enjoy them on pop songs but unappealing for me on RnB. Again these are just my preferences, might be best as well to find what your preferences are first before pulling the trigger.

Red is better, I would say Aria is outdated in the current IEM market. Grab the RED and you’re good to go :+1:
