If you have too much power, you can also run into channel imbalance at the lower volume levels on your potentiometer. It is possible to have too little power, it is possible to have too much power, and it is possible to both oversimplify and overcomplicate the matter. If the volume is high enough for your liking without clipping, distortion, or channel imbalance, you’re in the Goldilocks zone and you can stop wasting your time worrying about it.
