Curious for an amp recommendation for my specific situation:
Macbook Pro streaming Qobuz --> Motu M4 --> _What amp? --> Focal Elex
Hoping to spend around $200, but its a bit flexible. The M4 can run balanced out so thats tempting but its unclear how much it matters for this headphone / price point. I’m a musician just starting to get into listening gear, so using the M4 as the DAC is somewhat non-negotiable (at least for now) because it has other usefulness for me. The M4 headphone amp gets plenty loud with the Elex, but I’d love a wider / deeper space and more bass impact.
