This is a case of the wrong scope at the wrong time. If this had been introduced today with a more streamlined reticle it would of been the talk of the town. Especially at a lower price point then most of the other PA stuff has been lately. The biggest negative for me is the reticle on this guy. It has potential, but I really dont like the huge chevron for this things intended use. The turrets are really good and offer a good end user experience. The mag ring is short and fast to adjust. The parallax almost never needs to be tweaked. The illumination was even decent.
These pop up used for around $500+. And something tells me they will never loose value. For those that want this scope, they will be willing to pay that price for it. My biggest concern with this as a used purchase is not finding one. Its finding one, loving it, and then something going wrong with it that would require to send it back to PA to get repaired/replaced. What would they send you back? If not this, then what else could replace it that they offer? Its a very bittersweet thought.
