This is a Supremely wonderful optic. The fact that its as inexpensive as it is only further increases its wonderfulness. Before anyone says anything. Vector isnt just a Chinese brand, its a Chinese OEM. Meaning they produce optics for other companies. The design of this scope as a overall package is excellent. The controls are well thought out and all work as intended. The turrets punch way above their price point. The only negative I could make is they really, Really need a throw lever. Thankfully their newer design is a much better setup then their earlier gen version. Its more stream lined and sleek. Making the mag ring a moot point, and not really a negative at all.

Optics is where this scope really shines. Nearly no flaws that I can tell. The 2x is super large and flat. The 12x is very bright and easy to get behind. The reticle options are between the 67, and the 69. Both are similar, but the biggest difference is if you want a more traditional cross hair (67) or something that resembles the Eotech ring (69). The biggest question I get about this scope is to go with this, or the Athlon Helos BTR II 2-12x42. That is a complete personal question. Based on what is more important to you. Size, Weight, reticle design, etc etc. I simplify it like this. Quicker and easier to get behind and on target, more practical shooting, get the Helos. If you want the ability to use it for more precision work, get the Continental.
