I have about 3 devices which can output optical and I’m looking for a new DAC.
Whats the best way to manage multiple optical cables for a single DAC?
Cheers!

Some High end DACs will have multiple optical inputs. But that’s not a good reason to buy one. Your only real option is to use a switch. I personally use the one below. There are also cheaper passive switches available.
Maybe I’m wrong but if all your “devices” are actually, like, PC, console, DVD/Bluray player, all with HDMI outputs, this little but solid (metal casing!) switch gives you one optical out for all your hdmi devices. It will even output 24bit/192khz, which is rare, especially for this price!

1080p only though, I don’t know if there are 4K versions available.
