Musical Fidelity headphone amps?

Does anyone have any experience with them? I’m having trouble finding anything on them. Looking to possibly upgrade from an Asgard 3.

I once listened to the Hpa in the shop and thought it was really bad.
I don’t know if the setup was well designed by the dealer.
It was some Nad entry level cd player with the Hpa and it really didn’t sound good.
Quite sharp highs, powerless, music without soul.
I did not like it.
I don’t want to be biased though.
Maybe it sounds better with a juicy dac.
You just have to decide for yourself and test it.
Most people here don’t go for the hardcore audio manufacturers that have been around for decades.
If they do, they tend to be in the premium segment.

You can also see this if you continue to browse through the forum under headphone amplifiers.

It depends on what you are aiming for and what your taste is in what it should do and meet your needs.
There is certainly something from this manufacturer - the question is also at what price.

Having briefly heard a Musical Fidelity M1 DAC, I can say the M1 would be the wrong DAC to achieve that.

Edit: Or maybe not actually. Since the M1 DAC was overly smooth, it may be what the HPA would need.
