The MX3 cannot disable Bluetooth and there is no pairing security code so I can’t use it. Also I don’t need any more Bluetooth 24x7 pairing broadcast in my house, too much RFI already.
I need a similar amp with optical in, auto power off and no Bluetooth. The SMSL models don’t have auto power off.
Yes Class D has low power at idle but this amp will be on 24x7x365 and only in use for maybe an hour a week, it’s in a closet powering in-ceiling speakers which are voice controlled so there is no question of manually turning it on or off. Source is a Chromecast Audio via Toslink.
