Need a wallhack level of directional audio and clarity for gaming IEM that is on par with senn 560s

Tanchjim Oxygen.

Under 120 bucks?

I don’t game but Reecho and Peacock Spring 1’s have great imagining and monitor’ish clarity and come in @ $129 great with music too :+1:

Not to kick your expectations in the knees, but cheaper IEMs lack width of soundstage compared to headphones. Far more expensive stuff like UM Mest have it, but that’s like 12x your price range.

Because of this, I think it’s better to focus on imaging like Ohmboy suggested. The placement of sound and detail can be an amazing difference there.

My rec: Fiio FH3s. The best imaging I’ve heard in an IEM (barring I’ve only explored the lower-end).

I’ve heard good things about Final Audio A3000/A4000, tho. They’ve got a touch more width to the soundstage as well, but not many reviews about their imaging ability. Final does good soundstage budget stuff.

IMO, stuff like the Fiio FD5 and the Sony MDR-EX1000 have a very huge soundstage that is comparable to open-backs.

But well, that seems to be above OP´s budget assuming it is 120 usd.

At that price I dont really know many iems that are good for gaming. Maybe the Final Audio E500 and the HZ heart mirror could be some good ones.

Otherwise I would recommend the Koss KSC75 for gaming.

I’ve got the E4000 and agree with the good soundstage but imaging is meh for me, I use them for YouTube and general listening stuff.

A3000/4000 not the E4000 lol. I got the E4000 (entire E series in fact) and I am not impressed by it honestly.

I haven’t been impressed with any of these IEMs for gaming… most of them are extremely poor compared to something like my beyers which I can get at like… $120. They just aren’t good for gaming competitively

Well, headphones are the better transducer for gaming. Theres no way around it vs iems.

I mean, you have to spend like 300 usd on iems to get somethings thats somewhat comparable to the Koss KSC75. And even then, I would take the KSC75 due to comfort.

(even earbuds are generally a better value for gaming than iems.)

absolutely… I have sat and tried many brands of IEMS as I like wearing them when I go to town anyway, gone up to $700+ still no good… I would rather tell someone get a set of speakers lol or if needing isolation… just ear buds or a normal closed back headphone

Even as a hardcore iem guy. They are 100% the worst transducers for gaming.

iem < earbuds < earclips (koss ksc75 solo dominates this type) < headphones
(for gaming, sound only)

definitely not hardcore IEM for sure… most of the time I have a horrible time finding ones that actually can fit my ear and stay there lmao. will take your word on that
