Bluetooth objectively just tends to sound worse unfortunately. With the tech inside them they have to have some sort of drawback. But since you have a decent portable can with the QC 35. with your $400 you can get a nice at home no compromise setup as well
Dt880âs are semi open and will leak sound somewhat whereas the dt770âs are closed and therefore wont leak sound. I have the qc35 IIâs and also dt770âs and can say youâll hear a big upgrade in quality moving to the dt770. The only issue I foresee using it portable would be the cable which is 10ft ish long and is non detachable.
So the 80 ohm can run just fine with no amp, you should be good. The 250 ohm is more refined and I prefer it more, but I would suggest an amp with that one. I wouldnât suggest the 32 ohm
So personally my favorite Beyerâs are the 880 600 ohm, but it is pretty hard to drive so you would want to get something like a schiit heresy or xduoo xd05+ or k5 pro, etc if you were to consider it.
The 880 250 ohm is also good and needs a less beefy amp but I would highly recommend one, like the fiio btr5 or a smaller portable amp
If you want something that isolates the 770 250 ohm and again a small amp would do them justice imo
The 770 80 ohm can be comfortably run off of a phone or PC with no amp
The 880 600 and 250 ohm are neutral bright signatures and are detailed, open, balanced, and have very good imaging and soundstage.
The 770 250 and 80 ohm are more v shaped with boosted bass and treble with more of a dipped mid-range, but they are also warmer. They still have pretty good soundstage and imaging for a closed back though, but if you can go open I prefer the 880 600 or 250 ohm unless you really like subbass, then the 770 250 ohm is good for subbass
880 250ohm and 770 250ohm are available to me.
I donât prefer too much bass cos they hurt my ears a lot. I have cancelled the order i made for 770 80ohm one.
So, with 2 above choices. help me out which would suit
Its too darn hard for me to choose one. sorry.
