The connector for the audio jack from the DENON DA-10 came loose (the plastic broke down somehow). I don’t see anything else immediately wrong with it, so I wanted to try just replacing the connector between the audio jack and the main board.
But I don’t know what to look for. I need to replace the male connector. The krimped cables look fine to me, no need to replace those… I think
can’t find anything resembling this. The closest I got was a JST ZH connector but those seem slightly different too…I think. I don’t have one on hand to compare/test.
what is on the other end? Also, can you get a pic of the entire cable? Do you need THIS plug or the other end? Also, on the connector are there any numbers / letters?
It’s an imgur album, you can click on the picture to see the rest.
I’d need the plug that combines the cables. It was that way on both ends.
I couldn’t see any numbers related to the connector.
I tried a few of the numbers around that area but they either lead nowhere or refer to resistors and such, not the connector.
Or find a local electronics repair shop They would not only be able to help but may have exactly that part.
The website I linked has a few that are close but not sure they are exact. Just a simple 8 pin flat plug. When I did a search for 8 pin pc board connectors all kinds of stuff popped up. Good luck.
