Hi, I recently got a DX3 Pro+ as a gift. I’ve been having a blast using it with my IEM and headphones, but I want to try using it with my pc speakers. I have some normal 2.1 speakers that plug into a subwoofer which then plugs into my pc. The small L and R speakers have RCA cables that plug into the subwoofer and the subwoofer has a RCA to 3.5mm cable that plugs into my pc.
As @ErKil said, you should be able to just run male-to-male RCA cables from your DX3 pro+ to the Audio Input RCAs on the Subwoofer unit there. Just make sure to toggle the DX3 pro+ to the Pre-out mode so you can use it to control the volume output (unless you are using the remote to your sub/speakers to do so). The DX3 pro+ can be toggled to output just headphones, headphones and preout to your speakers, just preout to the speakers OR DAC output (which is full volume all of the time). This picture explains the modes, but the manual will have a better description. Since you would run RCAs to your speakers/sub and the DX3 pro+ is already being fed signal from your PC, there is no need for the 3.5 to RCA from your computer.
To be clear It is these connectors you need to mess with. Thats a RCA → 3.5mm cable you have in your pic. You need to get an RCA to RCA cable and then you can use it with the Topping.
Then you can just follow @Rikudou_Goku 's diagram and you’ll be set! You just run the RCAs from the DX3 pro+ to the same RCA inputs you used for the 3.5mm to RCA from your PC. As I mentioned previously, the DX3 pro+ has a number of output modes so you can use whichever suits your needs best when you want to just run the speakers or just run the headphones out of the DX3 pro+. Assuming that it’s the same controls as the OG DX3 pro, you quickly press the volume dial in twice to switch between the output modes (again, I would consult the manual or watch a Youtube video that shows you how if you are unsure).
