With the mh751 I don’t think it’s worthwhile imo, as they run decently well off of motherboard audio. I think if you stepped up to other higher end headphones you would want to get a dac and amp. Also I should note that the mh751 does not isolate as well as some of the other aforementioned headphones. They are closed but I don’t think they seal you out of your surroundings entirely imo
