So I’m currently running a smsl su 8 dac to a smsl sp 200 and little dot mark 2. I just snagged a geshelli labs jnog dac. Not sure if I’ll replace the su8 or run a separate setup. My question is what would be a good pairing for that dac? I’d an amp that’s a bit less analytical than the thx888. I’d say my budget is $300 or less.

At that price the first thing that pops in my head is an Asgard 3 from Schiit.

Do you want something that is " Musical" or Transparent. The Erish with the JNOG and Focal Clears has to be the most transparent setup I’ve heard so far. Not technical, I think you get whatever the music is… plan and simple.
musical maybe a Liquid Carbon X. I’ve not heard one personally but if it follows the Cavalli Liquid series sound it could be exactly what you’re looking for
