Hey guys!

BRAND new to the world of hi-fi, I literally just got my first setup going yesterday/today! Saved up a bunch of birthday money, as well as little side gig money (i’m a full-time student) to buy: Klipsch RP-500m, Emotiva Basx TA-100 integrated amp, Blon B03’s, Sennheiser HD 6xx (arriving this week), Schiit Magni Heresy, andddd I’ll be getting a Fluance RT-85 once the color I like goes back in stock.

While I’m waiting for my turntable, I’m using the amp and speakers with my PC via USB. Yesterday I set them up, and since my B03’s also came in yesterday I tried them out plugged into the TA-100. All I can say is… wow. I’m listening to songs I’ve known for YEARS and I’m hearing things I’ve never heard before. I literally feel like I’m hearing people talk in the studio in some songs… I’m using Equalizer APO and the Peace add-on with this AutoEQ setting for the Bl0ns from some github thing i found on the forum. My RP-500’s sound amazing too. It’s crazy how it feels like the music is coming from IN FRONT of me sometimes even though they’re facing me triangularly.

Anyway, I’m glad I discovered this forum so early into my audiophile journey and I look forward to learning more! If you have any recommendations about how to get the most out of my setup, please let me know!

I looove my blon 03, sadly one died rip. But still great sound sig, phenominal timbre and super fun bass!!! You chose some pretty interesting gear, i haven’t tried a senheiser besides the 58x but i do believe that most people rec the other ones like the 6xx that u got with a tube. so it might be wise to consider one in a future~

Rt85 is a very nice turntable with a pretty sweet cartridge. Welcome and happy bday :partying_face:
