[Noob] Need help before buying first real setup

Hello everyone !

Before starting, like the title said I’m a complete noob with audio stuff (the best audio equipment I ever got is my Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum) so sorry if I ask dumb questions. Also, english isn’t my first language so sorry if I make mistake (using google trad to double check).

I found Zeos’s channel pretty recently by his video on gaming headphones and decided to get a real audio setup, by going for the T50RP since it check all the boxes (gaming/music) for me and those big pads look hella comfortable.

I did research on what I need to make it work but since it’s a LOT of money, I prefer asking to people who know their stuff (sorry) before buying the whole thing.

This is what I have on my buying list right now :

Headphones : Fostex T50RP MK3

DAC/AMP combo : Syba Sonic 24bit 96KHz USB DAC Stereo Headphone Amplifier

Microphone : the t.bone HC 95 (a friend of mine have one of these and they are good enough quality and cheap)

Connection stuff : Female XLR to Jack 3.5mm adapter for the microphone

Earpads (I’ll buy these later) : Shure HPAEC1540 Replacement Alcantara Ear Pads for SRH1540 Headphones

I’d like to know if everything can work together, I’m especially worried that the DAC/AMP isn’t strong enough to power the headphones and microphone at the same time.

I have a small budget (250€) that I have already exceeded (285€) and I cant really afford to beyond that.

Thanks a lot in advance !

T50RP’s with the HPEAC1540 pads are very comfortable, can confirm.
I purchased mine (and the pads and two AKG foam disks to tame the treble) from Thomann.de

Amplifier wise, something like the Monolith Liquid Spark should work. Can run that off your motherboard for the time being using a 3.5mm to 2x RCA splitter:

Concerning the headset you linked, I am not sure I understand how you want to use that.
It would likely be easier to buy something like the Marantz Pod Pack 1

Thanks for your response!

I guess I’ll way a bit more for the dac/amp you named since it’s a bit more expensive.

For the headset I plan to put it around my neck since it’s thin tho the one you linked look really interesting I didn’t think a microphone like that could be so cheap I’m gonna take a look at some review and the like.

Again thanks a lot! I really appreciate it!
