Great!! Let us know. To me they share blood, but different in pretty much everything. Tea OG love some tip rolling btw and no foams.

Iāve been listening to both for the past three hours. My quick initial thought is somewhat like yours with them sharing blood. However, Iām going to say itās more like theyāre twins just not identical.
The Tea is the not so flashy, articulate, quieter and laidback one. Like a fine well dressed scholar. Extremely confident with itās abilities and doesnāt go outside their comfort zone much. Itās also the socially awkward one and doesnāt fit well into every social group. But, place it with the right group and it flourishes.
The Tea 2 is the flashy, somewhat louder and energetic one. Craves attention and shows off its flashiness. Comes at you with more authority. As if it wants to be the center of attention. Fits in with all social groups but, also will never be confident enough to lead the pack. When you compare to its twin you can definitely see they share traits just each with their own personality and slightly different looks.
And just like every parent it wouldnāt be fair to pick a favorite and tell your friends. They each are your pride and joys. Theyāll be days where one might be more well behaved and you gravitate toward them as your favorite. These arenāt my kids though so, it is with my pleasure to say the Tea is my favorite of the two. Simply because Iām mostly a laid back person and it fits my listening mood and preferences more. Though Iāll never forget the Tea 2 and when Iām in a more outgoing and energetic mood and have no idea what the music for the day will be the Tea 2 will be my favorite.
This family though has a secret though. Theyāre actually triplets. They locked the other in the attic because it dared to be more different and was somewhat of an abnormality with its personality. They referred to it as Up. Where it remains because they donāt how to explain it to the world but, if they could the world would now that itās a warm gentle giant with a lot of energy but, a gentle voice.
Anyway Iām a few IPAs into the night and just thought this was a fun way to compare them and kept going with it. Only brought the Up in because I see some similarities and itās still my ultimate favorite to crank up the music and jam on another level. Not caring if itās not as detailed or technical as the Teas. The Mangird/Xenn more current lineup is hands down my trifecta for the foreseeable future. Iāll end this with saying the Tea Cult is strong and I would be honored to be anointed by the great @nymz.

Haha I love the analogies! Glad youāve gotten the Teas as Iāve never had the chance to try them myself - how do you think they sound against the Canon? You have your set to compare or did you sell it already?

Mangird Tea is the reason this all started. That little thing was my favourite IEM for so long that I lost his count. It has a charm that is hard to ignore once you connect. Iāve simply stopped talking about as much since Iāve recommended it so many times that is borderline suspicious by now and some people must think I work for Xenns or something 
Thereās only another IEM that does this trick, and thatās RSV, that everytime I plugged it something touches my spine and I remember why I love it. I can not use it for months, but then I listen an album on it and I remember why I have them. Pure honey.
Every journey is different and you go wherever you need to go until you find home. Home is when the fatigue doesnt exist, you lose all sleep on the thought of ājust one more trackā and the place smells like cookies.

I find the OG tea to be more of the attention grabber, but for different reasons: the tea2 has a more classical/harmanish tuning, so the OG is more immediately remarkable.

Who knows I feel Lava is a Shuoer line of descent and a brand that has reached higher . Mangird still has not made their statement Iem. That maybe coming I would hope so. I am fair as the Tea has always been eliminated at the very end of decisions for me. I have no idea if I made right choice. The Tea and Tea2 bear a resemblance to the Blessing 2 and Dusk conundrum. I am not saying the Blessing and Tea are same but that they are a change in coloration and tuning that keeps original tuning but modifies it. I do trust NYMZ ears and it seems Tea and Olina are a pair that covers a lot of bases. Audiophiles by nature feel small changes are a huge deal. That is me also. Good luck to all in the search.I Might really like Teas and Up but a good chance I may never find out ! We will see.

Funny enough, shuoer has the direct upgrades to both Teas - EJ07 and EJ07m Kinda Lava
(I still think EJ07m OG is also very close to Tea2 and a direct upgrade as well)

I finally joined the Tea Cult this weekend. I went with the OG Teas, mostly because they are different from anything I have in my collection.
I got a few tracks in yesterday, and have been listening to them for the last few hours, working through my standard headphone/IEM test tracks, and my initial impressions are really amazing. They have some interesting qualities that are impressive and perplexing in good ways. There is a darkness to them that I really enjoy, but the treble is still clear. The imaging and stage are great, which again is something that I normally think should be hard to do without more treble energy, but there it is. Vocals and guitars sound great, which also doesnāt seem like they would, at least based on the graphs. I assume that peak around 8k is doing some heavy lifting. I get why so many people like these.
As a side note, I donāt normally do well with IEMs that have wings and contouring on the shell. I was able to just slide these in without problems, and have been wearing them for nearly 4 hours straight today. I am not sure what is different between the shell shape on these and other similar shells, but my ears tell me it is a huge difference and are very happy.
I put a pair of CP100+ tips on them and got a great seal from the start.
This was the first track I listened to on them, and I picked it because I wanted something epic for the first track. This track proves that guitars and vocals are amazing on this IEM. I was also impressed by the imaging on the voices and instruments.
Steely Dan, Hey Nineteen, is my imaging test, there are several songs that can be used. This has a wandering guitar effect for the lead, but most other instruments are fixed.
Rush instrumental, around 2:15 they start into a run with all three instruments, and it goes a couple times for about a minute before it settles into something more mellow. I like to see how they cymbals sound through this part, how cohesive things are, and check the timber of the bass and guitar here. I tend to get sucked into the guitar solo latter too.
Just after 3:30 is one of the most iconic solos in the bandās history. For me guitar is the real show, so these are what I am here for most of the time.
On of the few times Bonham shows restraint on his drums. The different tempos and tonality make it interesting. The bass lines are pretty intense in the background of the uptempo parts.
One of my favorite Zeppelin tracks, every instrument shines, from beginning to end, in what might be the most blues song they ever wrote, and the organ really works.
