Day 12 in the Tea Cult, and the cookies are still tasty.

The details of each instrument are present, and vocals are still exactly what you want. I am always shocked that Tea can deliver enough of everything, without drowning anything out, and still give me solid bass to go with it.

Possibly the most Zeppelin influenced band I have heard.

That graph looks epic! Also I see pretty much 0 channel imbalance which is impressive

I was going to say the same thing. the lack of channel imbalance is so impressive.

what is that giant 10k peak? can’t all be coupler resonance right?

It’s not, it’s intended for tuning!

Can’t wait to hear your impressions! I thought about that being my endgame for a bit but idk if I’m ready for that price range

I want to hear this set so bad. It’s just so hard for me to hit the buy button on a single driver set at this price. I’m going to need to see glowing reviews across the board about it being the best thing since sliced bread before I buy it. Which is funny because I’ve blind purchased many IEMs. It just feels to me they’re using their name to up the price more than it should be.

The IE900 is still a thing.

oh lol.

Even more of a highway robbery for me. No hard feelings to others though who enjoy them. If I ever demoed an IE600 or IE900 and it brought me to bliss vs my other IEMs I’d buy it too. Just don’t think any review will ever pursuit me it might be my new top dog for its asking price as single driver. Maybe when hype dies down and cheaper used ones hit the market I’ll bite.

Is it though? every reviewer I saw/read/heared so far said that the IE600 > IE900 at a lower price.

I enjoyed the tuning of the IE600 a lot - maybe better than the timeless. But there was something soft about its sound, sounding not as crisp and sharp as other BA/EST/Planar to my ears. So I might still prefer the timeless overall despite the worse tuning and I’d prefer the ThieAudio Excalibur over the IE600 at a similiar price point. But the IE600 is no slouch… just a matter of preference in the end.

Oh and if you want a reason not to buy the IE600: The cable(s - two included) are on the level of a 10$ KZ IEM and the connector is non-standard MMCX… so good luck replacing them.

Sorry, I’m in a middle of a storm IRL (nothing serious), and that’s the reason I’ve been more quiet the last days. Impressions tomorrow. Review will be out next week, and it wont be the only one (Hook X and more).

Sorry for the delays. The good news is that I will have more free time from now on

What a sick looking set in completely clear resin. I love that there doesn’t appear to be any branding on the faceplate, understated yet, flexible :sunglasses::ok_hand:

That was the major point. Nothing but the golden letters. Only added the “KL” to the model name, in tribute to its tuning and HBB.

I’ll have a set one day, trust. I need a pair. I can’t think of another set I want as bad as the KLs. Yours looks mint, brother :ok_hand:

Thanks brother. Next in line, and final form, is to re-do my own EJ07. You will enjoy that one
